The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
Isaiah 10:21-22 KJV
As Christians living in the final days, God is calling His faithful remnant to remain steadfast and serve as co-laborers with Him in witnessing the closing chapters of this sin-darkened world. The vision of our ministry is to share articles that honor our Creator and urge our fellow believers to heed the call of our Savior, who stands at the door, knocking at our hearts.
The Bridegroom is coming and we do not want to be like the five foolish virgins who were taken a back having our lamps with no oil. How are we going to prepare?
Abide in me, and I in you… I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:4-5 KJV
Jesus taught that by abiding in Him, we are empowered to accomplish all things, including the preparation for His imminent return. Preparation is crucial, and in many cases, it requires significant time and effort. Consider the dedication of FIFA World Cup athletes, who spend weeks and months preparing for their matches. Similarly, as God’s faithful remnant, we too must prepare for His return. According to John 15:4, the key to this preparation is abiding in Christ. But what does it truly mean to abide in Him? Let us turn to the Bible to provide clarity on this matter.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:10 KJV
Jesus taught that by keeping His commandments, we are able to abide in Him, thereby establishing a profound and meaningful connection with Him. Abiding in Christ is not a passive state, but rather an active, ongoing relationship grounded in obedience. When we adhere to His commandments—not just some, but all ten—acknowledging that we cannot selectively follow what we prefer, but must embrace everything that is according to “Thus saith the Lord,” we align our lives with His divine will. This alignment fosters a deeper intimacy with Him and enables us to reflect His character in our daily lives.
Our obedience to His commandments is a tangible expression of our love to Christ, allowing us to experience His transformative presence. Through this faithful adherence to His teachings, we cultivate a life that bears fruit, as described in Galatians 5:22-23, and fulfill His purpose for us. In doing so, we also prepare ourselves for His return. Therefore, abiding in Christ through obedience is not only the key to living a life that honors Him, but also to reflecting His love and truth to the world around us.
My prayer is that the Lord will grant you His Holy Spirit during your visit with us, enabling you to “reason together” with the Lord, as stated in Isaiah 1:18, and be fully prepared.
“… Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Matthew 25:6 KJV
… Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20 KJV
